This review is to give a 5 stars to Wayfair! The bed is excellent value for the price much better than one I paid a lot more for through a certain online discount group. You get exactly what it says - but you get a lot more because of Wayfair's excellent customer service. We had trouble with one of the gas lift pistons - unbeknown to us it was faulty but caused one of the side struts to completely bend. I contacted Wayfair, they took details the customer service rep gave me his direct email and a phone contact. I emailed him pictures of what had happened and they replied confirming the new parts were ordered and would be delivered. I was skeptical but shouldn't have been. Wayfair replaced the whole side of the bed, including a new white faux leather panel which we didn't expect but had been damaged by the piston failure. It has been replaced and works perfectly. This bed got delivered on the 7th of August, and it has been fine. The only thing is we just got a mattress delivered, and when we went to put it on the bed, there are now those weird stains on the wooden bits, tried to clean it up and wipe them but it won't come off, I have no idea what it is. Very good and strong bed. But the instructions was a headache seriously for the price you ask for you can make a better copy of instructions and may be few pages spread. Took us 4 hours to bulid. We did read the reviews about it before purchasing and we decided not to let it be an issue for us. But blimey it was a headache to bulid lol . Cant fault the bed though very strong good for storage. Nice looking albeit low bed, assembly was simple enough until we got to pressurised arms that lift bed up and down - were ridiculously hard to push down, spent 2 days hammering it and googling ways, thought it was faulty and about to return when one very hard push made the arms go down. Now it's fine, but closing the bed is bit of a nightmare for one small person, my sister literally has to use full bodyweight to close it. The final result is lovely if you ever get there , it took my husband 6 hours to build it and he is very handy. Looks much more expensive for the price. Seems very sturdy, no creaks or squeaks. It took me and my husband a few hours to assemble but the illustrated instructions arent the clearest. The material is a linen type in a mid-grey colour, its not the most luxurious material but has a fine textured appearance which I think looks really nice. Arrived super quick (box slightly damaged in transit so my heart sank a little on delivery but there was no damage to interior parts). All in all I think it is really good quality and rivals the likes of popular high street home store brands which would be much more than double the price for a similar specification.. Lois. Good, solid bed frame with easy to access ottoman storage. Assembly took me about 3 hours on my own, it will take a lot less time for 2 people. My bed had the head board posts missing. One phone call to Wayfair customer services and the correct posts arrived less than 24 hours later, even though the customer services representative said that it may take up to a week.. A.
