This is a very sturdy and robust storage box and I think it looks well. The lid is well constructed, rigid and tbh I can't see there being any issues with it sagging over time. The lid opening is also assisted with good quality hydraulic hinges which means it is easy to open and will stay open for you without flapping about. It also comes fitted with a hasp lock so it can be locked shut. Although I've only had it a few weeks, it has already been exposed to its fair share of wet stormy weather and it managed to keep all the contents nice and dry inside. Note however this unit is advertised as weather proof... not waterproof. It is plastic on plastic... there are no rubber seals, but as long as it's not going to be sitting submerged in a puddle of water it will be grand. The underside of the base plastic is waffled to give it more strength, but it also means it provides good drainage for any water which might seep below the box. If like mine, the box will be sitting on timber decking, this means the boards will be less likely to rot underneath. Overall very pleased with the box and I think it will last me many years. The lid did come with a few cosmetic scrapes on delivery (it happens) but they very quickly sent out a replacement lid with no hassle. Absolutely brilliant boxed and laid out well, nuts and bolts in cardboard packaging(in this case clearly written in blue) on right hand side. 2 sets of paper instructions(rarity these days)were clearly written and easy to understand each step. Arrows and predrilled holes lined up, grooves where the clasp go and pre-cut slits for the bar. You cant go wrong assembling this . The box itself has room for my 300x300covers when not in use plus other items and will have enough room for the cushions over winter. It was heavy to bring up to the house and I did help the courier with this. As a 50woman I managed to put it together myself using a table as prop for when I needed to do the lid. I did put a blanket on ground as well(put together on patio) to stop scratches, marks etc whilst putting together. The unit blends in and is really sturdy. Extremely pleased.. MST. This storage box is so roomy. It holds my strimmer, leaf blower, and other gardens items like bird seed etc, and theres still that much room left they look lost in there! I was dubious when it stated it was strong enough for 2 people to sit on as a bench, as I expected it to bow under the weight, but it doesnt and between my husband and adult son theres 26 stone! This is a great product. I was after a small shed to replace an old broken timber century type shed which really was too small. I chose this shed due to its size to fit where I required in my garden , colour and material as other people had said how strong and sturdy the shed was (they were not wrong) My son who is a carpenter (I think this helped) erected the shed in approximately 1 and half hours.
