Lovely bed for what it is and the price. A bit awkward to assemble especially the bit under the bed but I guess that was so because I assembled it alone otherwise happy with it. The bed arrived on time and great communication from Wayfair delivery department etc. Bed was assembled in just over an hour with just over half of that time putting the slats on.Finished result is excellent. I purchased the small double for my spare bedroom and I am very pleased with it, especially at this price. Not the greatest instructions and arrived in many separate boxes, but it was fairly easy to assemble and looks really nice when finished. The dark stained pine is soft and easily dented, so you need to be careful when connecting the joints and hammering in dowels. It is helpful to have an extra person when attaching the sides to the ends but other than that it can be easily constructed by one person. Love my new bed and it is a bargain! Came in a very narrow box which was rather alarming as couldn’t believe it could possibly contain a double bed. It was really easy to put together, but you do need a power screwdriver to affix the slats to the frame as there are no pre-drilled holes.
