The kettle is spot on already saving money on reboiling keeps the water nice and hot. However the courier used was EVRI delivery was poor in total it took 10 days from order to delivery so I almost cancelled my order. Vektra have been improving their product over the years, and this is a better build than the first insulated kettle I got off them several years ago. Plus points are the wider range of temperatures you can select: and now I have run this item for a few weeks since purchase I can say that it is a super good insulated kettle - the water is usefully hot for hours afterwards. I am not going to downgrade this to 4* for the next comment, either, as that feels an unfair rating. My original kettle had a number to show how much liquid was inside the kettle. I miss that feature. Those of you who have solar panels will know how to exploit the fact that this kettle is NOT 3kW: and by being under 2kW power it is more effective for those people (I am one btw). This kettle is beautiful. It arrived well packaged, inside and out. It has a lovely rubberised feel, with a sleek design, the plug is also white which is an amazing bonus. The kettle has a blue light switch when it is turned on and is the quietest kettle I have ever heard! It is also very fast! The lid is the easiest lid I have came across too, with a simple pull off and click on method (even saying it sounds harder than what the manoeuvre actually feels like). It has no chemical smell at all, even upon first opening. And is very easy to pour, although it is quite weighty when only filled up to minimum. It arrived with a couple of black marks on the cream colour, but they rubbed right off with a damp cloth! I can not recommend this enough. It is brilliant and looks way better than my janky old industrial sounding Russel Hobbs one. It also matches my outdated kitchen perfectly, giving it a more in date feel! I looked for kettles for weeks on Wayfair and could not make my mind up, and I must say, this not only had the best reviews but lives up to what people are saying about it. This traditional stainless steel corded kettle has a 3.5l capacity and features a lift-off lid. This product has boil-dry protection as well as overheat protection. The power cord is detachable and there is a power-on light indicator. This product also benefits from an auto switch off on boil feature.
